QS Alfred Aluvaala, FAAK, PIQSK, is the Principal Quantity Surveyor at Miradi Consultants, a Quantity Surveying, Building Economics and Project Management Firm. He is a Registered Quantity Surveyor (QS) with the Board of Registration for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS), a Fellow Member of Architectural Association of Kenya (FAAK) and a Professional Member of Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (PIQSK). He holds a B.A. (Build. Econs.) (UoN) and M. Sc. Project Management (Heriot-Watt University in Scotland).
QS Aluvaala has served as a Governing Council Member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), is a Board Member of the Board of Registration for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS), in the Board he is Chairman of Members’ Welfare Committee, he is the Vice Chairman of College of Fellows, is the immediate past Chairman of the Education Committee of the College of Fellows, is a Member of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS), is the Secretary General of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS), and is a Trustee Member of several organizations.
He has previously served as Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS), Treasurer of Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) Quantity Surveyors’ (QS) Chapter and Governing Council Member of Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK).
QS Aluvaala serves as Member of the Supervisory Committee of the AAK Cooperative Sacco Ltd.
