QS Festus Litiku, B.A. Hons. (Build. Econs.), FAAK (QS), FIQSK, FCIArb, FICPMK, is a Registered and Practicing Quantity Surveyor (QS) by Board of Registration for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS), a Construction Project Manager (CPM), a Certified Arbitrator and Adjudicator registered with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Kenya.
He is a Fellow Member of four professional bodies i.e. Fellow of the Architectural Association of Kenya (FAAK) (QS), Fellow of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (FIQSK), Fellow of the Chartered lnstitute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and Fellow of the lnstitute of Construction Project Managers of Kenya (FICPMK).
He is the Principal Quantity Surveyor at Litiku Consultancy, a consulting quantity surveying firm which he has run since 1981.
Previously, he has served as Vice-Chair of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK); at the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS), he served as Vice-Chair, Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee, and Chair of the Education Committee; he has also served as Dispute Board member on several civil engineering projects, Secretary General of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS) and Chaired the first Selection Panel for the National Police Service Commission (NPSC). He currently serves as a member of the Kitale Municipal Board, and Chair of its Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Planning Committee.
QS Litiku was the inaugural Chairman of the AAK Cooperative Sacco Ltd from 2010 till 2021. He currently serves the Society as Member of both the Management Committee and Loans Committee.
